Mrs. S. Deswal the founder principal of the school for being the sole motivating force behind the successful running of Gyandeep group of schools in and around the city beautiful.
In her student career she remained president of the historical society of post graduate i.e. Punjab University Chandigarh.

Inrecogntion of her Excellent Contribution in the field of Education she was awarded Life time achievement award by international institute of Education & management Delhi (regd.)She was awarded Jat Gaurav Award for her achievement in education and Social work. She also got Best Principal Award for achievement in the field of education & Social work.
She is a member of complaint committee of sexual harassment of woman in police deptt. Haryana.Inrecogntion of her Excellent Contribution in the field of Education she was awarded Avantika Award.
